Over the past couple years, tattoos have become the new “permanent accessory”, since so many people (young and old) are getting inked up. Even young female celebrities such as Rihanna and Nicole Richie are sporting their tattoos. I’m dying to get a couple as well, but there’s only one thing stopping me. I am deathly afraid of needles so for now, I’m sticking with henna tattoos. So yup … there are so many different tattoo styles out there: flowers, animals, skulls, etc. Personally, I don’t like big tattoos, so I would opt for small, discreet ones. If given a choice, I would go for a classy, discreet tattoo such as Nicole Richie’s rosary foot tattoo.

It’s so cute, yet it’s not so as imposing as these other big tattoos. Plus, it’s not immediately visible, so it would not pose a problem at work (quite a few employers are not fans of immediately visible tattoos). Another tattoo that I wouldn’t mind getting is Rihanna’s famous star tattoo on the back of her neck. I prefer the first one (before she extended it) which just contained a small bunch of stars. Again, it’s not immediately visible and is classy, and very discreet.

I also love Rihanna’s foot tattoo, since it symbolizes Music, which happens to be one of the most important aspects of her life. It’s so cute!!

Hopefully, one day I’ll be brave enough to get a tattoo (or more than one) of my own, but until then, I’ll stick to my henna tattoos. But for sure, Rihanna and Nicole Richie are my tattoo role models!
